Über Underøath
Underoath (dt. unter Eid, auch geschrieben als UnderOATH oder underØATH) ist eine US-amerikanische Band, die oft dem christlichen Metalcore zugerechnet wird. Die Mitglieder der Band stammten aus Tampa, Florida (USA).
Aufgrund der häufigen Besetzungswechsel ist zurzeit kein Gründungsmitglied mehr vertreten. Mit dem ehemaligen Sänger Dallas Taylor spielten Underoath eine eher vom Deathcore beeinflusste Musik. Nachdem Dallas Taylor von Spencer Chamberlain ersetzt wurde, wechselte auch der Stil stark in Richtung Post-Hardcore, was der Band aufgrund des derzeitigen Trends einen deutlichen Bekanntheitsschub im Mainstream verschaffte.
